more photos 1956 Buick Century Riviera that is a top Driven Show car, outstanding credentials from serious Buick club guys, Winner of the 2003 AACA National First Place Award and the 2004 North Carolina Region AACA Senior Award, shown in the Atlanta Southeast BOP show in 2007, featured car in the Buick Bugle in June '06 for the car show, then this was kept with an Atlanta, very classy collector until Summer 2008, very nice Red paint with great luster that sets off the pretty White contrast, correct 322cid/4v 'Nailhead' V8, this is the same large engine that went in the Roadmaster making this the 'performance' version of the Buick line with 255 horsepower, this has been built so well it really just 'purrs' with top performance as factory, proper 4v carberator, hard to find factory air cleaner, nice detailing, note that the mechanicals of this car are really top notch Dynaflow transmission that shifts very well, in the final test drive, the transmission kicks down properly, had the fully restored correct red/off white interior, the bench seat in the red and white are fully completed, includes all side panels and headliner, even the interior is excellent design, painted working gauges on the correct dash, even has working radio, correct hubcaps with bias ply period whitewall tires, recent check at Fraser Dante after receiving from collector includes oil, filter and spark plugs, radiator flushed, all in an effort to make sure this drives as well as it looks, the paint is very good as a driven show car and it just nice enough that can be driven and not to worry, the front end with the large chrome bumper and grill looks outstanding, the rear chrome bumper has the rare and hard to get chrome pieces above the lower part and below the large highly designed taillights, correct steel wheels, original large chrome hubcaps, the tires are 7.60x15 B.F.Goodrich Silvertown bias plys, these are the correct sized tires to go with the car as new, the geometry of the suspension is so good to fit the tires,this is an ease to drive, the underchassis is very original and solid, it is not detailed so photos will not pass on how nice it really is, please note that this car passed all the judging standards with the undercarriage, from classic diners to Ralph Lauren clothes, this is a real Americana high design, it is very hard to find this quality of 1950s design today and this noting this VIN#6C6007062 is an extremely proper car, long Club history, ready for Summer 2008, $29,950
