here is the best color of the era, this famous color of Grabber Orange that was used in the 1970 TransAm series by Parnelli Jones and George Follmer, (Brochure and Photos), even today at the Rolex 24 Hour Race in 2008, photos document the #15 car is still being promoted by Ford in the GT series, (SEE LINK), at the Amelia Island Concours in March 2008, Parnelli Jones was featured with the race version of this car, photos fully document Parnelli and the Grabber Orange Boss 302, Tom Fraser is shown speaking with Parnelli discussing this chassis #0F02G116512 commenting about the engine and performance of this Boss, Parnelli gave advice to the final tune of this wonderful investment grade Boss 302 (LINK), this is not only gorgeous with the black hi-back bucket seats but extremely correct with the original rear sail panels, the original 302cid engine is just rebuilt with the original pistons used that have the Ford numbers on them, , photos document work and the build, this engine is completely rebuilt to stock specifications, the factory rev limiter still works, highly detailed engine bay as factory, an original shaker hood with the proper dated '70 Shaker Air Intake hard to find, the valuable dated, correct DOZF 9510 carburetor is restored to Concours standards by Pony Carburetors for Spring 2008, this very expensive, correctly dated carberator (SEE PHOTOS AND LINK) was done with great care for Concours showing and top performance by both Pony and Fraser Dante, note the NUMBER SHEET to show all the important parts of this car, this 'Boss look' that is only for 1970s with many optional items includes the factory Shaker, spoilers and slats make this an true investment quality piece, the initial work was done by a top Boss/Shelby restorer before the final work rebuilt suspension has the original front brake rotors restored and on the car, new shocks and springs are now on the car with the original ones as part of the investment package (SEE LINK), full photo documentation of the full restoration is on a CD for valuable history, note the really beautiful lines as one of the most important cars ever made is the BOSS 302 as listed in THE GREAT BOOK OF MUSCLE CARS published in 1990, a real factory street racer, this car was featured in Mustang Monthly as one of the most important Mustangs and Muscle cars in America, this was a car produced only to make Ford eligible for TransAm racing with a production of 1628 in 1969 and then 7013 in 1970, produced with the heads of the 351 cid "Cleveland" V8 that are fitted to the 302cid block, this meant the 302cid that stayed within the 305 cid limit and could fight the Chevrolet Camaro Z28, the attached sheets give a lot of information that helps the condition and history of the car, note that the heads are shown with the date codes posted, it shows that the passenger head is dated 9.J.9 to match the car and the driver's side is O.A.9, a few months later in January, since the car was sold in December 1969, one could only assume that there was an immediate problem with the head and the dealer immediately put on a factory head at once, of course these heads are completely rebuilt for Spring 2008, these heads even have the dated "keepers' on the rocker arms (SEE PHOTOS), the full interior is correct with all the padding on the seats, door panels and headliner concours, has the Philco AM radio, all the body panels and floors are original, the trunk is in such outstanding shape that it is in outstanding condition, fabulous underchassis, the original paint is on the inner fenders, has the Ford stampings inside said inner fenders, the full Carlite glass in the car is from the factory, all the windows appear correct, as shown in the "The Complete Book of Mustang", pg. 132 (LINK), also as shown in the 2007 "The Ultimate Guide to Muscle Cars" by Jim Glastonbury, although theirs does not have a Shaker Hood like this one, (LINK), with this history and the Marti Report, Build Sheet, Window Sticker/Dealer's Invoice, and the restoration completely photo documented, this becomes true investment quality, Owner's Manual, as shown in the Mustang Chronicle, $128,500
