1966 Mustang Convertible, cruise night restoration just ready, nice CandyApple Red paint, fully buffed and detailed, fresh 'C' code 289cid, excellent compression (SEE LINK), rebuilt 2v carberator, Ford blue original air cleaner assembly, C-4 automatic transmission, power steering, nice suspension with good bushings, new interior buckets just restored, new padding, new carpet, brand new white power top just installed, new window, new parchment boot, excellent braking system just checked, fresh cosmetic and mechanicals completed for Summer 2008, Owner's Manual, the floors are very solid with some work done in the last few year and bottom just finished for driven Show 2008, note the red paint is done on the inside floors before the new 80/20 carpet just went in with photo documentation, four Mustang floor mats, has four original Ford Mustang safety belts just taken out and cleaned, the dash looks nice with new dash bezel with lense just installed (SEE LINK), expensive wood and aluminum 'Moto Lita' Mustang steering wheel, once could chose the base steering wheel should they desire, nice black dash pad, original Mustang AM radio that works, all the lights and turn signals are checked, back up lights work, has the correct chrome wire spinner hubcaps with Blue Oval, tires are original size 185/75/14 radial narrow band white walls, four brand new shocks just installed, note the fresh alignment with specs for great driving, has a nice 2.80:1 cruiser rear end for the 200 horsepower engine, the fenders have been replaced with Ford units in the car's life from careful examination, rear quarters appear original, has the correct and important VIN #6F08C106507 on both driver's 'public' and passenger hidden inner fenders, these are most important in a car's value, the chrome bumpers front and rear are very nice, the trim and emblems pieces are nice, all of these just had metal cleaner to bring out the luster, even the rear view mirror is new as the original one was just replaced, correct new 'C' code factory correct exhaust system, has a jack and spare tire, new trunk plaid cover, the correct, rebuilt 2v Ford carberator has a proper Ford intake manifold, original air cleaner assembly, with the 289cid V8 having such excellent compression, this is shown to be rebuilt and runs very smoothly, the engine performs as it should, the recent engine and tune work has a new coil, voltage regulator, oil and oil filter, fresh spark plugs, new spark plug wires, timing just set, the radiator is flushed with fresh coolant, new temperature sending unit, 180o thermostat, the engine is recently detailed for driven show, the exhaust manifolds exit to the nice quiet, original type fresh 'C' code muffler system proper for this car with correct smooth sound, has an original data tag, shows that this is a color change to the CandyApple Red, note that this is fully checked for top working order with the desirable C-4 automatic transmission working as it should with recent check of fluid level, this Red paint was just buffed by a top professional and then a touch up on the car completed by another outside professional to bring this appearance up for driven show, the interior appears to be the redone original front seats and rears were original, the new work includes the new interior covers and seat padding for the front seat, the rear seat was taken out, re-padded and put back in the car, NOTE, the interior expert in Atlanta not only believed these were the original seats but thinks this was his personal car in the early 80s, to continue for nice show presentation the door sills and Ford logo are new, previous work in the last owner included sun visors and other outside trim, even the chrome header panel on the top of the windshield is nice, buffing just completed, the headlights work, turn signals are just checked to work, this really drives exceptionally well, professional buffing and final touch up just completed, has great 'eyes' and smooth mechanicals for a terrific local Cruise night car for Summer 2008, $28,950
