1969 Corvette 350/350 Roadster
for sale, very factory correct,
complete frame-off restoration of a gorgeous LeMans Blue with
the Blue interior, this excellent 1969 Corvette roadster has
been used as a slightly driven show car for the last few years,
matching numbers with proper casting and VIN# and date codes
for the 350cid/350hp engine, rebuilt to excellent standards with
terrific compression, proper 4-speed transmission, this Lemans Blue 1969 Corvette convertible with the correct blue interior, blue carpet
and new white top has really great 'eyes', the mechanicals on
this 1969 Corvette are really outstanding, when sold to a collector
friend of Fraser Dante, he reported 'This is the best driving
collector car I have ever had", this is now available as
he wanted to get another car and has limited garage space, this
terrific Corvette was a 2 to 3 year restoration prepared to work
well along with a complete file of receipts, this is an extensive
file that shows the history of the car that adds to the value,
even the clock works, less than 3500 miles on the build with
full, fresh detailing finished for Fall 2008, engine VIN #of
S713072 matches the VIN # of the car that is 194679S713072, engine
pad is V0108HW, date is L.30.8, this goes with the build Date
of the car of January 1969, casting is 3956618 (SEE NUMBER SHEET
), there is proof of the engine
rebuild with the wonderful dry cold compression taken for Summer
2008 with 175 to 180 lbs across (SEE
LINK), has
the B.F.Goodrich radial red lines of 225/70/15 make this look
outstanding and drive well with the 15x8 beautiful Ralleys with
center caps, redone dash pod includes all working gauges including
factory tachometer, has the clock and the working Corvette AM-FM
radio, trim is #411 blue and the #976 paint, there is a "number
sheet" to ascertain correct nature of all the parts, the
dual exhaust system is fully checked with proper mufflers for
a 'mellow' sound, the body and paint are really gorgeous, all
the fenders are like new, no signs of any body work, this has
the 'BLOOMINGTON GOLD" window sticker, the car was prepared
in Atlanta initially in late 2006, them prepared for Spring 2007
for a collector in Boca, he commented that "this is the
best classic car I have ever driven", this was driven very
little miles for a nice day only, then he wanted another car
and the car was sent back to Atlanta, Fraser Dante then was thrilled
to get this top, top driven show car back, we went through the
car again, did a full mechanical check, brakes, lines, full coolant,
full tune of points, plugs, oil, filter, spark plugs to insure
this would continue to perform to safe and high standards, another
professional buffing is just completed to bring out the lovely
shine and luster of this LeMans Blue paint, the full dash pod
is restored, the tachometer works, the speedometer and other
gauges are checked, the dash pod is restored to high standards
and all the gauges work, the proper chrome gearshift handle with
working lockout is pure stock and even the face plate is original,
the proper blue seats are padded correctly, new door panels,
all the knobs and handles are new, nice blue carpet, the underchassis and frame
are presented for a nice clean
manner showing their solid condition, all the lights and turn
signals work, the extensive
file of receipts document the
work and time on the car in the 2003-2004 period of $12,300,
this is before the Fraser Dante work, such records help with
fine history, for Fall 2008, the underchassis has been detailed
for driven show with photos that show how nice the frame is,
the values of these 1969 Corvettes are really climbing in prices
as the mid-years got so high, note that this shape was the one
generally used when Chevrolet was pushing their road race program,
this one being a very correct and in a beautiful color will help
