Body: all body panels and floors are original from careful inspection, the history shows this as a low mileage Cross Ram in an outstanding color with the original black vinyl top in great condition, the suspension is highly detailed for show standards, the mechanicals are checked to make sure this car works as well as it looks, the number sheets as part of this report are most important to the history and condition of this great Z28, desirable steel hood, the hood is noted in Wayne Guinn’s ‘Bible’ on the hood section, either fiberglass or steel is correct, the steel hood is part RPO ZL2, the fiberglass is really the race version, as used by Penske/Donohue, Wayne’s book confirms this fact, the writer of this report started racing in this era and knows the fact to be true,  note that one of the most desirable cars in the collector market is the 1969 Camaro, the top car in this market is the Z28 with the famous 302cid in original condition, the highest values of this car being correct with full history shown and with the fabulous factory supplied cross-ram 2x4 carberators and induction system,

Engine: this car is a matching number restored car with the correct engine and transmission, X33 body, made in Norwood, Ohio in July 1969, DZ302 engine, note the proper DZ codes on the passenger side of the block (VO603DZ) with the ‘broach marks” as factory (SEE LINK), has the correct GM parts used in the build including the proper cross ram 2x4s carburetors, these carbs are repro but very correct and work well, just set by a top technician, as mentioned before, this investment aspect of this 1969 Z28 CrossRam has the very rare Winters foundry upper and lower plenum intake manifold, original M21 4-speed transmission, the transmission even has the VIN # and the proper date codes, the exhaust manifolds are correctly numbered, the engine has the pollution attached as per factory,

CROSS RAMS: all the important information, note that this 2x4 set up was only dealer installed in the 1967 to 1969 period, according to all of information from the experts like Wayne Guinn, (SEE DETAIL), these carberators and intakes were sent in the trunk or the dealer ordered them from GM, this set up was for these Z28s being legal in the Trans-Am racing, this car now has two sets of carberators, the repro set that are one the car to make it run exceptionally plus the fully restored very correct factory Concours set for investment purposes, the whole engine compartment is highly detailed, posi-traction BU 3.73:1 rear end, power disc brakes, M21 4-speed transmission, working factory AM radio, steel cowl induction hood, stainless steel chambered exhaust system that is correct for this date production car in late Spring, Delco transistor ignition system, correct sway bar, Koni shock absorbers, the factory Delco shocks are available for show conditions should one want, the tires on the car today are the new and correct repro E70x15 Goodyear Wide Oval tires, the very valuable spare tire is an original rare Goodyear Blue Streak Sports Car Special tire mounted on a correct original ‘YH’ wheel, a past owner has a set of these rare and original Goodyear Blue Streak Sports Car Special tires that would be available for extra costing, these are show tires only, not for street use, the jack is complete and dated 1969 that is worth a lot of money in itself, this piece itself is worth about $600 today, engine pad numbers V – Flint, 0603 – June 3rd, DZ – 302cid for Z28, Casting code E129 – May 12, 1969, Block casting #3970010, the VIN # is often found in the rough casting by the oil filter in the lower part of the block, it is very hard to see this number (there is no sign of any disturbance in this area) as they were very light stampings after the engine was built, the previous owner says he saw them in the build of the engine and all the codes and date codes absolutely match, not all of these engines were stamped correctly, this is exactly the same situation as the ’65-’66 Shelby GT 350s with the 289 ‘K’ code engines, not always there, the heads are dated to the car with the ‘E’ dating, the compression is outstanding with a dry reading of 155 lbs to 160 lbs (SEE LINK), even the value covers are cast original with baffles and the numbers of P3932418 as shown in Jerry McNish’s book, intake and carb numbers, trim tag ST 12437, body Nor366506, paint 69B, Cortez Silver with Black vinyl top, TR 711, Owners Manual, this has the full console, all the console gauges work including the tachometer, even the clock in the dash center works with the second hand movement, mileage is believed to be original at 62,110 from the history given but can not be absolutely verified, the front disc brakes are taken apart along with the rear drums that are fully detailed and checked for show as well as safe driving, this car has the standard black bucket seated interior fully restored with door panels, headliner, new carpet, the gauge package is desirable and all the gauges operate, the underchassis is terrific and highly detailed for show and investment, this work has been completed to such high standards that it is prepared for shows with mirrors to show the detailed underchassis, has the original seat belts that are hard to find, the headrests on the seats appear to be original and in fine condition, the whole car is highly detailed and marked with factory stampings as directed for the highest restoration and show conditions, this being said, this is a low #1 or perhaps the end of the world top #2 as the mechanicals have been fully checked and a test drive to make sure this works well, right below non-driven trailered concours condition, it is hard to find all the body and floor panels are believed to be original, the taillights are even correct with the factory numbers, the inner stainless trim on the wheel wells are fitted for show, been checked mechanically and extensive detailing with final buffing by a top professional, full tune, complete check for Summer 2010, these cars really are ‘fun’ muscle cars, a large audience just loves them, this is a top example of a collector car that should grow in value, $85,950
