History: according to information received, this car has had a complete full restoration using the original body and engine, this is what was known for years according to prior information, has the valuable 'Buck tag' shows the factory 'P10' GT stamping (see LINK), thusly, this had upgrading work from Fraser Dante when initially acquired, then sold to a collector who wanted to improve it even more, used a bit, largely stored, then purchased back and more attention to up-rating the condition, then sold again by Fraser Dante for a wife’s 40th Birthday, due to health reasons this GT convertible was again very seldom used, thusly in 2010 the car came back and Fraser Dante went through it again extensively to make sure it looks good and runs well, the body and floors of this Mustang convertible with VIN#6T08A236229 are extremely solid, all appear original, these are painted proper red oxide with side dark blue overspray as factory, (SEE LINK), this lower area is very important today for quality Mustangs, as Fraser Dante initially found this car from a knowledgeable car person and really went through the car, Fraser Dante then did the work listed below to keep improving this fine Mustang, ready for showing for Summer 2010,

Engine: this correct 'A' code engine is fully rebuilt according to past information, correct intake is the C5OE 9425 A, installed today is a fresh Edelbrock #1403 4v unit, this works extremely well as the choice for a driven car, a correct Autolite 4v unit that is show restored is available as an additional cost, the hydraulic lifter heads are 289s with correct 6E12 date codes, the exhaust manifolds have just been done to make them look nice, the air cleaner is the correct Cobra chrome unit, the intake is an Edelbrock aluminum unit painted Blue to look stock, this system was rated at 225 horsepower initially and should produce another 10 more with the more modern carb and intake, full fluids checked, correct MCA show spark plug wires, the stock 3 core  radiator was just taken out and redone by a top sub to make sure it cools correctly for Summer driving, (SEE LINK), new fan shroud, all fresh coolant, new belts and proper radiator hoses with tower clamps, proper striped heater hoses were used in the final restoration, factory power steering, the air conditioning system is checked to work well with the uprated 134a for cooling that works outstandingly for Summer 2010,

Interior, Appearance and Driving: Parchment and Blue full Pony interior, good padding on seats, full GT Pony door panels, AM stock radio is in the standard location and has been supplemented by an expensive Alpine MP3/WMA AM/FM/CD receiver and speaker system that is hidden in the glove box, this even has the factory ‘emergency blinker’ switch still installed (SEE LINK), correct luggage rack, correct 1966 styled steel wheels, trim rings and center caps, one can have show period bias ply 6.75x14 red line show tires or new 1800 mile 205/75/14 All Season Dominator radial narrow band white walls tires for better driving now installed, suspension checked and gone through for great and safe driving, fully checked for top working order with fresh alignment and braking, the desirable C-4 automatic transmission has had lots of maintianence through the recent years, was checked by a top transmission shop in Atlanta for cooler lines and shift lever adjustment for $325 in 2005, then our customer wanted to make sure this would work exceptionally, the transmission was rebuilt completely to driven to his weekend house, he spent $2348 to have full gasket seals, 'O' rings, drum clutch and all bands with new friction plates, he also spent over $5300 on the suspension that was then upgraded to factory specs installed by Fraser Dante, then more work again for Summer 2010, all of this work is receipted, this transmission works wonderfully, proper power steering, for 2010 now the power steering hoses both pressure and return are new along with the valve cylinder, this power steering area in Ford’s need attention and this work is recent, turns and tracks straight,

Body and specs: the paint and body are really very nice with fresh detailing as a top driven show car, not a brand new paint but terrific luster, this final prep work was accomplished by a top professional in our shop, (SEE LINK), set for a MCA driven show car or one that can be taken to a Cruise Night or out to dinner with great pride, very straight lines, this great chassis has the Ford numbers stamped on the front fenders and rear quarters, the excellent floors are really top notch, very hard to find in this condition, all the floors appear to be original excepting one small steel patch in the passenger side foot well, again, these are painted red oxide with factory body color side overspray, the axel housing is in red oxide primer, the windows roll up great, hood hinges are detailed in natural, the shocks are brand new KYB units both front and rear, have checked the fully rebuilt brakes, (SEE LINK), the front disc brakes were good factory units, now just replaced with the top quality Stainless Steel Corporation units, they are brand new front pads and excellent discs that are in outstanding condition, in the last time that Fraser Dante owned the car, the rear axles were taken out and have fresh seals, now the rear drums are like new with fresh wheel cylinders and shoes, they are detailed with the wheels taken off for the photo documentation showing their outstanding condition, nice front coil springs, new upper and lower control arm bushings, new upper control arms, new joints, sway bar end link bushings are new, the rear leaf springs are virtually new, as they come from the supplier, they are take a while to seat,

Interior: has the valuable 1966 6000 rpm Rally Pac, new MCA approved chrome sill plates just installed, has the standard inner sills with the Ford logo, the dash bezels are new, white power top, the top bows are nice, has the full four safety belts, the desirable and expensive correct wood steering wheel, blue padded dash, nice blue carpet, the trunk is in show condition with nice proper paint inside, insulation, correct cardboard side piece, proper trunk mat, standard spare with tire, cover, jack and handle, very nice and expensive wood steering wheel, correct ‘wood’ trim on dash fascia, all the gauges are good and work, the terrific radio has great sound with a stock look, as mentioned, even has the original flasher in the glove box,

Summary: many, many receipts document the work to keep this an outstanding car that one can drive safely, really nice suspension and brakes, the factory air conditioning system has just been just recharged to work perfectly in a process that took great effort, note that this Mustang is one of the most desirable vehicles ever produced, MUSTANG 1965 to '66, one of the first collector cars in America being good looking, fun to drive, the '65-'66 Mustang was so popular that over 1,100,000 were made in the 60's, has an Owner’s Manual, 1966 Mustang Facts Book, the ' 65 and '66 Mustang convertible are perhaps among the most collectable cars in the USA, due to the age of the vehicle, the above information cannot be verified as factory or actual build as authentic only as what has been viewed, the engine literally just purrs through the proper dual exhaust system, the new carberator, all fresh plugs, coolant, oil, filter, all of this work is to bring this up to top Driven Show to be enjoyed, all the preparation is for Summer 2010, $43,950
