This car is a recent show winner and won "Best Mustang" at the UPS/United Way car show, this is the great design that started with the 1969 Model for the two year run, the original engine is the 351cid with the 4v carburetor that was rated with 300 horsepower and tremendous torque, rebuilt to high standards, this engine sounds really fantastic with great rumble, this is a highly detailed engine compartment like factory, has the original 3 speed transmission as per the factory, one could have the transmission upgraded to a 4-speed unit with full shift linkage, would plan this work at about $2650 with road test and check, today this has the full rebuilt braking system, black special Mach I knitted vinyl with horizontal pleats on the bucket seated the interior, this interior is in fine condition, this is a desirable 1970 MACH I is one of the top collector cars as it was and it always in style with its fine aggressive lines, the car features the simulated blacked out standard simulated hood, the low gloss black out work is correctly done, the twist down hood latches are in great condition and work perfectly, proper rear spoiler, this is one of the true collector vehicles in America and is most important as compared to the full sized Fords of that era, the Mustang is one of the most important cars in American culture, organizations like the Mustang Club of America make such a car highly desirable, a copy of the actual ad for the 1969 Red Mach I is included in this package to show how important these cars were and are today, it features the 351 cid Cleveland, 4V correct carburetor, the engine was fully rebuilt to high standards and is virtually new, the pistons, bearings, heads are all fresh with under 400 test miles, the engine compartment is detailed highly for top show conditions, has the full new dual exhaust system that has great sounding mufflers, this has the final tune, full new carburetor setting plus the original carb comes with the package, timing done, spark plugs, spark plug wires, belts and hoses, and clamps are just fresh on the car, has new chrome 15x8 Magnum wheels, car could have either the 225/60/15 B.F.Goodrich tires or brand new show Firestone F70x15 WIDE OVALS bias ply tires, bumpers are beautiful chrome units that look great, now this is equipped with the factory type drums brakes as produced, for an upgrade charge the ’67 GT dual line disc brake system can be installed with full road testing, this would be $2300, the floors in the car are outstanding, they are solid and original, then highly detailed, (LINK), a beautiful restoration for $35,950
