1966 Mustang Convertible in outstanding condition restored by a team of professional Mustang experts, this is finished in fantastic ’65 Caspian Blue color that is desirable worldwide, has great presence with stark White standard interior, the White steering wheel and the White top along with the ’65 styled steel wheels and narrow band radials, this color combination is truly an international favorite, fresh 289cid/4v engine has terrific compression, the 4v intake system, (SEE LINK TO ENGINE NUMBERS), dual aluminized exhaust system, uprated power steering and GT disc brakes makes this a joy to drive, this Classic Mustang Convertible presents wonderfully with a paint application that is better than factory, the GT performance updates on the ‘C’ code Convertible makes this a terrific car to drive and enjoy, the mechanicals are outstanding with fastidious attention to driving abilities, with all the new chrome, when this is completed, this will have all the ‘eyes’ in the world, mostly original body parts and floors that are restored to appear ‘as factory’, areas like the underchassis is restored to original condition and is extremely important to the value of this great 1965 Mustang convertible, now detailed with all the final work for Fall 2011,

The interior is fully just completed with padded seats and new side door panels, full long factory console, AM-FM updated radio, great effort is made on the driving abilities with new disc brakes supplied through Stainless Steel Brake Corp (SEE LINK),  uprated power steering, brand new mounted and balanced 195/75/14 white wall radial tires on correct ’65 styled steel wheels, the fresh detailed engine and proper exhaust manifolds leading to the dual aluminized system make this top show car look fantastic, this really is a gorgeous Caspian Blue color and presentation that is desired by Mustang collectors all over the world along with great effort for mechanicals,

Body and paint: The car will have the ’66 side ‘fingers’ look, new lower outside rocker stainless panels,
Body with be stripped, sanded, prepped and painted with a base/clear, doors, hood and trunk will come off,
Paint is applied to top driven show presentation in desirable ’65 Caspian Blue, the body is completed sanded and blocked before the base coat/clear coat is applied and then sanded,
New white top, detailed frame, white boot, redone sun visors,
The interior side door areas and dash pod will be painted proper while as factory,
Underchassis will have any rust areas replaced with factory steel pieces, all primed,
Then the underchassis will be painted red oxide show condition,
Inner floors under the seats are stripped, primed, painted red oxide, new
(these above areas are the most difficult and time consuming that take expertise)

Engine/brakes today has excellent compression of 152 to 162 lbs, recent build, it comes out for full detail under hood,
Engine will be uprated with aluminum intake and new 4v carberator, heads are checked with valve adjustment,
Distributor checked with tune, points, rotor,
New water pump, new alternator, rebuilt 3 core radiator,
All new hoses, belts, spark wires,
New battery, new headlights,
Full check of automatic transmission with blessing by our sub,
from correct manifolds to hand built dual aluminized exhaust system to mufflers,
Uprated variable power steering,
GT stainless steel brakes, rebuilt rears, all new brake lines,
All wiring checked, turn signals, head lights, dash lights,

Suspension/Appearance: all new chrome and trim pieces external and internal, all new chrome and trim pieces external and internal, when Fraser Dante fully restores a Mustang, the driveshaft is taken to a specialist, then the driveshaft is trued, balanced, all U-joints are replaced and then painted, (SEE LINK),

New all white standard interior, seats, padding, side panels, new built expensive full length console, 5 Ssnake Oyl white safety belts, rugs, mats, new steering wheel, interior bezel and gauges,
new 1965 styled steel wheels, 195/75/14 narrow band whitewall radials,
all new front suspension, bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends,
handling is enhanced with Shelby HD sway bar, (SEE LINK), alignment with specs,
springs front and rear checked, new shocks around, road testing, this car has factory stamped hood and trunk, there will be some underchassis work as mentioned with items like the torque boxes being very good, this still has the factory stampings on the lower rocker panels, for one to understand that our beginning point is about $20,000 just to start to get such a solid car and then complete this build process, of course, our expertise and years in business led us to find this car,

Summary: as completed for late Fall 2011 for top, top driven show conditions with road test and full detail, this great Mustang is $46,775
