Engine: the 289/4 engine works great, set for optimum performance, this has an Edelbrock aluminum intake that is painted the black factory color when the engine is just detailed, has the Cobra correct factory Hi-Po chrome air cleaner with the proper mesh air filter, the hard to get Cobra valve covers, all fresh points, condenser, fresh plugs to make sure this car would run as well as it looks, the engine is rebuilt with outstanding compression of 155 lbs to 160 lbs (LINK), the heads are correct ‘289’, new Edelbrock 550 carburetor with the matching intake, these are detailed to look stock while yielding better power, fuel economy and lighter weight on the front end, many items like a new fuel pump are part of the preparation to be able to use this car, full fluids checked, fresh spark plug wires, cap and rotor button, belts and stamped FOMOCO radiator hoses, all new hoses under the hood, full tune of engine just completed in the final restoration with all said fluids, the engine has a wonderful crisp sound, the whole cooling system was flushed, the radiator was checked from a specialist, has the fan shroud, the engine compartment is nicely detailed, hood hinges are detailed in natural, new fuel tank, sending unit and lines, nice aluminized dual exhaust system with mellow sounding Flowmaster mufflers, nice turn downs like the factory ‘A’ code duals just installed,
Suspension: this is great to drive, the shocks are new and installed along with full alignment done, the brakes have just been checked and all new wheel cylinders and rubber brake hoses have been added, new floor shift indicator has been installed, the dash bezels have been replaced and look new, the newer AM-FM Mustang radio is installed, nice black power top and pads,
Cosmetics: in the trunk this has the correct cardboard side piece, proper trunk mat, standard spare with tire, cover, jack and handle, the expensive 1965 chrome styled steel wheels with proper center caps have the Coker 195/75/15 Radial Red lines installed, the car has been aligned with specs, the tires were also high speed balanced, has the tinted windshield, day/night rear view mirror, the stainless trim around the windshield shines great,
