1967 NCRS Corvette ‘427’ with full matching numbers and outstanding presentation, equipped with the proper 3x2 carberator and presented in fantastic show condition with full engine bay detailing, the aggressive side pipes add to the presence of this famous sports car, the beautiful Rally Red has a wonderful luster that couples the Red leather interior, Stinger hood with Black center stripping, proven NCRS quality with the most recent award as the Second Flight award in 2009 (LINK), then this was collector kept ‘in a bubble’ in the wonderful garage until Christmas 2011 (LINK), there is just completed road test on this wonderful 427cid engine producing the 435 horsepower, the M22 4-speed is correct for the car, going with the judging, the shift lever and full red dash are factory correct, teak steering wheel, the underchassis is highly detailed,
History: the initial body off restoration was done in 1997, at that time, it received a Top Flight NCRS award in 1997, then in 2008 another restoration was completed yielding the desirable NCRS SECOND FLIGHT Award in 2009, the ‘427’ had the GM date coded correct and valuable aluminum heads added, the carberators and the M22 were also redone again, LINK to VIN, Engine Stamping, Data Plate, all parts have been carefully examined today, due to the age of this vehicle, all statements are made to the best information available after careful examination but originality or genuineness of any parts of said vehicle cannot be authenticated, then the new lacquer Rally Red paint was applied (we are advised that the trim tag is changed but one can not tell), full red carpeting, red leather seats, headrests, GM seat belts, the alternator, speed minder, proper tinted windshield and great side glass, all stainless and chrome trim, clock, AM-FM radio and gauges were finished in this second restoration, the Rally wheels have the proper trim rings, center caps, 7.75x15 B.F.Goodrich Silvertown show tires, has been fully tuned for a top driven show car, the photos do not show how really gorgeous and awesome this 1967 Corvette is when viewed and heard in person, $135,000
