One of the most desirable cars is the 1969 Camaro Pace car convertible with the RS/SS options, this is a very, very nice driven show car with great lines and sides, SEE www.fraserdante.com for FULL INFORMATION, PHOTOS and full number sheet on this car, has the rare Rosewood tilt steering wheel, great effort was made to make this a correct car that one use on a driven show basis, it looks great and drives wonderful, the paint and body work on this car are extremely nice, the lines are straight, really good luster, nice shine, no signs of rust that we can see in any of this nice body, this is the correct Z11 Indy Pace Car package on the body tag showing this car was produced 04D, 4th week, April 1969, this is 1/3675 produced, of course, you must have a car produced before Indy, note that the new owner will have VIN #124679N622970 that a repro Owner's Manual, make up a nice package that includes a full Camaro Factory pamphlet for 1969, new top end rebuild of V8 that shows from all markings to be a 350cid, 300 horsepower engine with casting of 3932388 that is shown in the reference areas as a 350cid V8 for '69 to '74 cars, this is believed the original matching numbers although the exact VIN numbers are in a rough casting place in the lower end of the block by the oil filter, all the date codes are correct, all of these numbers we can see are listed on our 'number sheet', when our last owner did the top end of the engine, he gave us a statement he could see the faint numbers and we have seen one letter and two numbers today, the whole car is to have only 103,000 miles on the total chassis not counting the restoration work, according to information received, this car sat from 1981 until 1999 when the restoration was started, the last owner did a bare metal paint in 2001, his previous owner added proper GM quarters when that first man started the work, the underchassis is very solid, all floors are believed original, this drives really well as the final work is finishing to make it even better, note this has correct spark plug wires, the hoses and clamps are correct, all filters are fresh, show labels, new battery cables, all date codes correct and castings on the heads and intake are for 1969 as the full sheet of 'numbers' back up this description, proper ignition coil, the engine compartment is nicely detailed for driven show, work was done to make this right and is completed February 2004, the correct and working cowl induction intake with hood and full factory air cleaner set up with recent check, the carburetor has been tuned to work perfectly, power steering, power front disc brakes, the brakes are dry, rebuilt recently just before Fraser Dante acquired the car, then they have just been fully checked and the rears rebuilt September '03, new pads on front, photo documentation of this work, car aligned October 2003, the floors and underchassis are nicely done, very clean, painted black, again, we believe that the floors are all original, photo documentation is on www.fraserdante.com, proper new dual exhaust system with mufflers give a great throaty sound to the exhaust system, the exhaust has new clamps for show, data tag has the correct (50) Dover White lovely body with great luster, this appears very, very nice, the 'A' arms are good and when received the bushings are so good it was original before Fraser Dante Ltd went through the car, the body lines look great, only a small gap in the fitting of the left door to the fender that we can see and that was worked on September 2003, much care was done on this restoration, cool Indy Pace Car decals CAN BE put on if one wants, virtually steel everywhere, very little bondo used, very nice body, correct trim (720) code for orange houndstooth interior in very, very nice condition with new covers just done to make look great, whole interior is very clean, the orange solid vinyl around the houndstooth is great, very solid floors, has a new carpet in great shape, has four factory seat belts, full console, dash pad is excellent, AM original radio as factory that does works on and off at present, we are trying to get it perfect, no cut door panels with correct dash speaker, great condition, rear end is date a 4:11 for great performance, works fine, the TH350 Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission with shift kit is recently fully checked, detailing on the trunk just finished, has the new correct spare and new jack with proper new trunk mat, four brand new, new 235/60/14 B.F. Goodrich Radial TAs, car was received with Goodyear Eagle GT Radials that were out of production for over 10 years, even though the treads were good, the new owner of a driven show car would want modern tires, the car realigned with the new tires, the car was received with non-working RS headlight system, Fraser Dante has rebuilt the whole system so the doors work February 2004, the car is fully checked, has a correct orange boot, statement of the past owner, all lights work, the chrome trim and bumpers are very good, excellent rocker moldings, left outside mirror, day/night rear view mirror, detailed Ralley wheels, chrome new trim rings, hat center caps, very nice correct off white top with new pads, the suspension is very good, new shocks, very few of these cars are so set up so well to drive and enjoy with such attention, great automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, restoration finished February 2004
