Charlie Kemp who raced his 'R' code for years, drove a Mustang prototype in IMSA and was also a Can-Am racer in its heyday, is a long time friend. We know George Follmer, the Boss 302 Trans-Am racer, from his driving days with Rinzler MotorRacing when George drove the 917/10s. Bob Riley of Riley and Scott was a long time friend. Fraser Dante has sold Shelby's, Boss's, regular Mustangs and high-end Ford products for years. MUSTANG 1965 'K' CODE CONVERTIBLE, Here is a 1965 'K' code Mustang convertible, very early production that is restored with top credentials, excellent mechanicals, terrific history including show history, the car is shown in the current photos with the Wimbledon White and the black interior, original data plate, this has a correct and replacement 'K' code engine, has a rebuilt correct 289cid/4V, HiPo 271 horsepower engine (SEE LINK TO NUMBERS), the dating on the correct heads, proper four speed top loader transmission, correct shifter with reverse lockout, GT front disc brakes, GT exhaust and valance, working 1965 8000 rpm Rally Pac, today the car is shown as it was originally from the factory excepting the GT exhaust, very stark white as this car was produced before the GTs were available, at one time, this car had the GT stripes and front GT lights, one could enhance the look at the value of the car if the GT full grill, lights, switch and wiring are added, these and the Black GT stripe would add to the appearance and the value, VIN number 5F08K126745 is on both inner front side fenders showing how correct this 'K' code has been manufactured, this car came out of a beautiful collection in the Northwest area where it had been for a number of years before in came to the South, Fraser Dante is going to finish the restoration and check all braking and running condition for Summer 2008

1994 Convertible
1994 COBRA SVT INDY PACE CAR CONVERTIBLE, fabulous, original 5051 mile Cobra Mustang, Red, tan leather bucket seated interior, tan canvas convertible top, 5-speed, console, white-faced gauges, 1994 saw a major redesign for the Ford Mustang, as well as Mustang's return to Indianapolis. The all-new 1994 Mustang Cobra convertible became the third Mustang to pace the Indy 500, shown here is an actual track photo of the actual Pace Car with the roll bar, the 1994 Mustang was powered by a modified version of Ford's 5.0L V-8 engine that produced 240 horsepower. The 1963 Indy winner Parnelli Jones was chosen to drive the actual Pace Car and this factory dealer was one of the valuable editions that has been kept as a collector car since 1994, this is a two owner car with all the records, this has the factory Window Sticker, Ford Motor Company SVT Certification and other historical documents that show this 'real' car (SEE LINKS), the records even include the copy of MSO, SVT letter are part of the large file on the history, these cars were and are now collector cars that look great and are fun to drive, shown is our NASCAR friend, Bill Elliott, with his '94 Pace Car convertible when he came by to see us a few years ago (SEE LINK), this cars have great collector value, especially with the five speed transmission, with the limited 1000 replicas that were produced of the red-and-tan convertibles, here is chassis #56 out of the 1000 built, VIN#1FALP45D5RF158104 has but 5100 miles on it, the car was shipped to Hopkins Ford of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, it was immediately dealer transferred to Chuck Callahan Ford, Inc of Indianapolis when it was sold to David Landis on May 13, 1994, he kept the car until it was sold to a Florida collector, Gary Schmidt, still has the original Goodyear Eagle GSC 255/45R/R17 tires, this is in perfect condition with the air conditioning charged, a new battery, oil and filter fresh being the only changes from new, the decals are in perfect shape, the final show buffing is completed for Spring 2008, Owner's Manual, $35,950
